If you think you are not satisfied with what the financial aid officer and the counselor had told you, you can still search for some more. You can always talk with your high school counselor about nursing scholarship. Your former counselor will still be considered as your good source. Otherwise you can inquire in other nursing schools to know if they provide scholarship not available at your first chosen school. If the school still doest not meet your needs, search again. Remember, looking for nursing scholarship is not that easy. If there are healthcare officers in your place, you can always ask them. HR departments of any hospital are also a good place to search. You can ask the officer in charge in the hospital about the financial assistance they are offering. There are hospitals, which will allow you to work with them, and in return they will pay your tuition.
